Our first outdoor courtyard wedding. Maggie and Andy exchanged vows just outside Accenture Tower, in Minneapolis’ CBD. Maggie was such a photogenic bride, the principal photographer and I wished we had more time to take photos of her and of course of her husband-to-be!
This wedding has many firsts. One, it’s my first wedding stateside. Second, my first Chinese wedding. Third, my first outdoor wedding (which I already mentioned). And lastly, my first wedding where at least a half dozen of the guests were toting dSLRs!
Maggie and Andy were a delight and we wish them the best in the future!

A unique experience to be a part of and for which Ila and I thoroughly enjoyed. The brides and grooms were Al & Christine and Roche & Ariz. Young couples we knew even before we were hired to do their wedding. Ila knew Al and Roche from her ACN days, so it was fairly easy to take their photographs.
This double wedding was quite a production. Consisting only of friends, many if not all participated in the wedding or reception. In fact, Ila played the role as wedding coordinator/emcee. As for myself, I knew I couldn’t do the wedding on my own, so I enlisted the help of Portia. With her on my side, she could cover one couple while I covered the other.
The double wedding was a success. We wish the couples all the best!

You don’t need a picturesque venue to shoot an engagement session. In fact, you could use your own backyard or a park. That’s exactly what we did for Yvonne and Richard. This couple were a delight to photograph. Unfortunately, weather was not on our side. It rained, but luckily the sun came back for a moment. Despite the obstacles, we had a successful session and they had a grand time posing for us!
Photos to come. Stay tuned!
